Managing cycles
Cycles define the time period for your OKRs — typically a quarter, but you can create annual, monthly, or custom cycles.
Creating a cycle
Go to Settings → Cycles and click + Add cycle. Set the name, start date, and end date.
Setting the active cycle
The active cycle is used as the default when creating new OKRs and viewing the dashboard. Only one cycle can be active at a time. To change it, click the cycle and toggle it as active.
Multiple active cycles
You can have OKRs on different cycles simultaneously — for example, annual OKRs running alongside quarterly OKRs. The Alignment map shows OKRs across all non-closed cycles by default.
Closing a cycle
When a cycle ends, close it in Settings. Closed cycles are read-only — no new check-ins can be logged on OKRs in a closed cycle. Historical data is preserved.
Cycle history
All past cycles and their OKRs are accessible via the cycle filter on the Goals page and in Reports.
