Initiatives are the projects and activities that drive your Key Results. They live on a Kanban board and connect to your OKRs so you can see what work is actually moving the needle.

Initiative statuses

  • To Do — not started yet
  • In Progress — actively being worked on
  • Blocked — stuck and needs attention
  • Done — completed

Creating an initiative

Go to Initiatives in the sidebar and click + New initiative. Give it a title, assign an owner, link it to a KR or OKR, and set the status.

Linking initiatives to OKRs

Every initiative should be linked to at least one Key Result. This connection helps AI Insights understand what work is blocked and factor it into health score recommendations.

Good to know

Blocked initiatives are flagged in AI Insights as a risk signal. If an initiative linked to an at-risk OKR is blocked, the AI will specifically call this out in its suggested actions.
