If you're already running OKRs in a spreadsheet, you can import them into OKRs Tool without re-entering everything manually.

Supported file formats

  • Excel (.xlsx)
  • CSV (.csv)

Download the template

Before importing, download the template from Settings → Import & Export → Import OKRs → Download template.

Required columns

  • objective — the OKR objective text
  • key_result — the Key Result title
  • metric_type — number, percentage, or binary
  • start_value — starting value
  • target_value — target value
  • cycle_name — must match an existing cycle (e.g. "Q2 2026")

Optional columns

  • okr_type — organisation, department, or team
  • team — created automatically if it doesn't exist
  • owner_email — must be an existing workspace member
Teams auto-created

If your spreadsheet references a team that doesn't exist yet, it will be created automatically during import.

Preview before importing

After uploading, OKRs Tool shows a preview table. Green badge = team exists. Amber "will be created" badge = team will be created on import. Review before confirming.
