Import OKRs from Excel
You can bulk import OKRs from an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. This is useful when migrating from another tool or setting up a large number of OKRs at once.
Download the template
Go to Settings → Import & Export and click Download template next to the OKR importer. Fill in your OKRs using the template columns.
Template columns
| Column | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Objective | Yes | The OKR title. Multiple KRs sharing the same objective are grouped under one OKR. |
| Key Result | Yes | One row per Key Result. |
| Type | Yes | organisation, department, team, or individual |
| Metric type | No | number, percentage, currency, or milestone |
| Start value | No | Defaults to 0 |
| Target value | No | The goal value for this KR |
| Owner email | No | Must match an existing member in the workspace |
Uploading the file
In Settings → Import & Export, drag your file into the OKR import area or click to browse. A preview shows your data with any validation errors highlighted. Fix errors before importing.
Multiple KRs per objective
To add multiple Key Results to one OKR, repeat the same objective text on multiple rows with different Key Results. They will be grouped automatically on import.
