Joining a workspace

If someone at your company has already set up an OKRs Tool workspace, you can request to join it instead of creating a new one.

How it works

When you sign up with a company email address (not Gmail, Outlook, or other personal domains), OKRs Tool checks whether another workspace already exists for that domain. If one is found, you are shown a request to join rather than being taken to a new empty workspace.

For the person joining

After signing in, you will see a confirmation that your request has been sent to the workspace admin. You cannot access the workspace until an admin approves your request. Requests expire after 5 days if not actioned.

For the admin

When someone requests to join, admins see a notification in the sidebar and a Join Requests tab under Settings → Members. From there you can approve or decline the request.

Approved members join as Member role by default. You can change their role after they join.

Requests expire
If you don't action a join request within 5 days, it expires and the person will need to request again.
